Are you ready to make a significant impact in a business that's transforming how it engages with the supply chain? My client is a household energy organisation looking for a Senior Category Manager to drive innovation and manage their evolving portfolio in Digital Technology (hardware, software, licensed, and managed applications).
They have several major contracts up for renewal, and this role will play a pivotal part in supplier assessment & transformation agenda as they enter the next phase of their technology implementation.
As a Senior Procurement Manager - Digital Technology your responsibilities will include:
- In this customer facing energy business experiencing major technology change in it's indsutry, you will run a market analysis on key technology contracts that are up for renewal
- Business partner with key cross-functional decision makers to ensure effective communication on major technology transformation projects
- Effectively engage the market to analyse the supplier base and select the best and most cost-effective suppliers amidst major changes in the industry
- Work closely with technology stakeholders to deliver foster effective innovation and ensure procurement is providing effective engagement to the business
- Manage the contract negotiation and onboarding with major digital technology suppliers, particularly within the hosting & managed applications spaces
Required Skillset:
- Significant procurement experience managing digital technology transformation projects across data storage, hosting & application management
- Experienced within a matrix organisational structure, ideally within a customer-facing organisation
- Strong experience in engaging cross-functional senior stakeholders within a large corporate environment
- Strong experience in supplier management and contract negotiation
